MiWay Insurance came on board in 2016 as the title sponsor. 2024 will be the 9th year with MiWay as the title sponsor of the Wally Hayward Marathon.

 

It is safe to say that "The Wally" has grown tremendously since they came on board. Not only in terms of numbers, but in terms of quality and value for money.

In fact, growing in numbers is and will never be our vision, but rather hosting an amazing race and serving the sport we all love.

The financial backing which they provide allows us to subsidize the race T-shirts, the race entries, the venue cost, the medals, etc. It also allowed us to implement electronic timing in 2018.
